Oh Raz, this is not a good sign. You are really going to have to get in the air more. I guess winter is doing its thing in your part of the world. Out here, the best I have been able to do is squeeze in flights between rain showers. One day I will get back down to the soccer field. Right now it is too wet and muddy so I do my driveway thing.

I just bought clearview, (the sim), last night. Fantastic for the price. There are third parties who make up models that you can download, just like FMS. There are blade CP, blade 4003ds, blade CX2s, MCXs, MSRs, and various micro parkzone planes, it's great and it's cheap as chips. It's only $40 for an instant download

I am hoping my Hobbyking order arrives soon so I can finally get my T-28 Trojan up in the air.
The lipos should stay warm inside the fuse plus I bought some skis for her

Really looking forward to flying her.

Sims are GOOD. Sims are very GOOD. Sims save parts. Sims are GOOD. Sims work in any weather. Sims do not require you to change or recharge batteries. Sims are GOOD. Last Fall I ran into a problem with my Real Flight, it just crashed and burned inside of my laptop and even attempting a re-install from CD produced a serious "blue screen". I switched over to Phoenix and the problem was solved. Too bad it was an expensive solution. I have heard some very good things about Clearview. I hope it does what you want it to, HC.

If a fuselage can keep HC's batteries warm enough, it should work for you. I don't think your temps drop as low as HC's. Just remember that those aircraft eating trees are hungry all year round. I am very aware of the 40 foot, heli eating, cedar across the street from me. I know it has those secret branches that can suddenly grow out ten feet and grab a TRex.

Hey Raz, is all this stuff you have ordered coming from Hobby King? Seems like they are having some rather long delivery times. It is a bit too early for the Chinese New Year shut down. That New Year celebration is in February this year. I just checked my vendor delivery spreadsheet. I have yet to deal with Hobby King.

HK is hit and miss; I had a big order with lots of back ordered stuff; and I bet customs has the stuff now which sucks. My smaller order came last week with my new ESC for my 450 so I have to get going on all things associated with it. But I still have wire and connectors needed in the HK order that isn't here yet; so when it does I'll be getting to work changing gear; ESC and RX.
Then comes DX6i programming lol

It's damn cold here today which sucks
But I am inside building foamies which keeps me plenty busy.

Changing the ESC? What are you upgrading to? Changing the Rx as well, I guess all of this means that you are converting over to Spektrum. Are you keeping the servos and gyro that came with your bird?

We still have mild temperatures but freezing temps are due next week.
