Castaways boat club
A photo of the Tue/Thur get together of the Castaways boat club
at The Villages Fl, still awaiting some of our snow birds members to arrive, may have to build an addition on our dock. |

Hmm, Norgale. B'lieve I see a Sterling C-C 63' Motor Yacht in the middle of that nautical aggregation. You'd better log him into the '63-footer club.'

awesome...more boats...hey that sport fisherman looks a lot like a lobster boat? Did it have a previous life?

Stats on the Sport Fisher
she is 61 inches long, has a 17 inch beam and is 26 inches high from the waterline. Has a draft of 8 inches and weighs a little over 62lb. Two 12 volt batteries power a "blower motor" from a car to her 4 inch prop. It was purchased as a chesapeake lobster boat. I added the flying bridge and accessaries about a year ago. About a dozen lights were added and she looks great, along with other club boats when doing a night run at the lake.
I also had to build a trailer to get her in and out of the water. if there is any other info that you need,.... just ask NOTE: everything I converted to make the lobster boat a sport fisherman, can neatly and cleanly be removed and return it to its original condition..... |
