I was just going to say what about a 350 with say a 11X8 or 10X8 prop. You get lots of thrust and I think they like 3 cells better.

Thanks for the replies. I concur everything you say and feel better knowing others have the problem. My Razor 350 should be here soon.
Incidentally I also "Roger" the 10 X 4.7 inadequate/marginal thrust one of you found. I measured 11.5 oz on full 3 X E-Tech battery. That is 74 Watts on the test stand. It explains back sliding. Perhaps if my motor was re-timed it would have yielded more than 11.5 oz on the stand.
Below is pix of motor components after the event. I am sure that the commutator segments spread during my sloppy disassembly. The commutator was not the problem and all the armature wires are still attached to the segment and electrically normal.
But notice (if you can see) that one brush is gone. This would explain open circuit failure.
