I just wanted to share a couple of pics of my T-45 flying. One of the pics is on take off. Im running a not so tipical set up. Het 700 series fan with a het 2610kv, 150amp esc 6s 5300 mah 50c. This set up is wicked,,

Nice pics. What landing gear are you using and how are they holding up on the grass runway?

Dear lord, 2610kv I was getting 90A with an 1850kv motor in that fan, you must be pulling pretty hard from the packs.

The amps would be well over 150...around 10lbs of push....would love to see some vids of this thing in the air no doubt

I'm running an 1850kv motor on 8S with an HET fan...Batts I run are rated @ either 40C or 45C with 5000mAh capacity...On 8S the fan is spinning around 55k...If 8S proves to be too much then I can always drop down a cell to 7S...On 8S this combo has a little over 3100 watts...Amperage was measured @ 105 amps..

Your are right its pushing 10.3lbs but my amp draw hovers at around 118amps. Indeed this is a hot set up. I beefed up the esc wiring to 10-8g. With 150amp esc and about 4min flight time my batteries are barely warm. I have ran higher mah batteries 6000 6s,2x3000 6s in series and it flies with authority still. To me this plane needs power to fly it succesfully and on take off. I will try to post vid soon..

That's pretty good, you're getting over 10lbs of thrust on only 2500 watts if the volts are settled at 22.3 or something around it...

Did you do a bench test on this before flight?

What's your AUW?

Yes I did with fear and this thing screams! Auw is around 2400w

Thats funny you ask. I fabricated the same replicas of the tam struts with the spring.

Those wheels are da BOMB!!!...I have a set on my A-10...

About the struts---Can you post pics of how you made these???...Or post some pics of the finished product???...

Sure will but they are the prototype not the finish product . I will post the pic later tonight..

Here is the actual main strut prototype Ive flown the T-45 with. I will smooth things up on the finished strut and use different screws as well.

That looks great!!!...Did you fabricate the upper portion of the strut as well or did you use an off the shelf unit???
