Hi, good eye, no the length is fine but that nosegear spring is weak.

I first filled the rear (mains) shocks with GE Silicone, that eliminated the bounce on the mains. Then after that flight I filled the front strut with GE Silicone as well. No more bounces since then.

The new HK Hawk gear has the same problem, the springs there are also WAY too weak. Otherwise very nice gear btw. !!

That's the Turnigy SK3 $48 motor in the WeMoTec fan on 6S TGY 3000 40c cells. I think it's around 1800W peak.

You mean GE Silicone? Like out of the caulking gun silicone? Or can you give me a link or a pic of the stuff?

I have touble with bouncing. I have tried softer tires and springs. I'm interested in the silicone idea. But I don't understand how to apply it? Is it silicone caulking?

Thanks,

Dave

I went with 105mm. Had to give up 10S and fly with 9S to balance with 5000 paks. But the performance is still awsome with 9.

That's the greasiest landing from that altitude I've ever seen even out of full scale!!

Nice, I was looking at the trail struts that I had on it before and thought mine never bounced with those so I'm going to change back to less bouncy struts also

Thanks for the compliments.TBH With reflex and 60% flap. This bird is EXTREMELY easy to grease. Hence the dissapointment with the bounce issue. It spoiled a perfect landing every time....

Anyone know where I can get a canopy for this bird? Been searching and I'm coming up empty. Thanks!

Can't wait to make a start on it!

Hopefully they ship with instructions? Bloody hope so

To answer the first question: http://parkrcmodels.com/product_info...roducts_id=873

I think they will fly off grass, but I don't know.
