I'll bite the bullit and read on this thread. See what I can learn. What is the best CG consensus BTW?
Pick it up by its dog ears (top intakes) and if it balances it's good, I've used this for almost 10 flights and it's been spot on.

The fences fit perfect, i had to zoom it out to the size you put on the drawing,
i think to 125%, landing was a lot slower and stable.

Flow conditioning for the stabs, vortex generators to keep pitch authority during high alpha maneuvers.

Gratis Kevin!! They also help delay stall during slow approaches on landing.

T-45

My kit arrived from Nitroplanes today. Only a small crack on one of the intakes. Easy repair. Let the assembly begin

Does anyone fly with the drop tank? Do you notice any significant drag? Assemble is coming along. Doing what I can do while I wait on the EDF and Retract Gear. Nav lights etc. I'll post an edited video of the assembly for any one whos interested in this or a similar build. Edit* Who has the pilots for sale?

Hey Dave,

I'd love to see an edited build video! I should be starting my T-45 this winter. Thanks, Chas.

Dave, are you getting the Lander metal retracts?

Kevin Greene,
Could you please revisit your installation of the RC Landers nose gear.
From my observations using the supplied spacer blocks the nose wheel
does not retract all the way into the fuselage. I am trying to use a tapered
block; 1/2 at the back by 5/8 at the front to angle the gear up inside the fuselage.
The next problem is clearance for the single arm steering. Any help or advise would
be greatly appreciated.

Tony

Yes, the RC Lander Retracts and the RC Lander 9/10S DPS EDF w/strait inlet ring. No one flying with the drop tank?

Then I assume that the vast majority does not use the tank. It appears very aerodynamic. That is why I asked. I don't think it would cause much drag. And it does look very scale. Rear Side Stabilizer photo. And I noticed the real plane uses wing fences only on the underside of the wing.
