This is undoubtedly the best looking rc app for me !

This is what i dream of, in addition to your app features to make it really valuable for me at the field and in the air. I want an app that displays messages or plays sounds (checklists) during a countdown timer. E.G, playing a sound file that says "start heading back to runway", "drop gears", "flaps down", like some TCAS or alert system on real planes.

I shall be able to set the duration of the timer, slot in sounds at chosen time intervals preferably selectable from own sound files, whichever format possible. And count the time of the flight using the countdown timer too. Its just backwards and if it overshoots just add the extra time to the original.

I can bet this be the first true field rc app when in the air and off in the hanger..
thanks, hope you'll implement it ! cuz I don't write well.

Sorry I just don't understand what entries are used in the charged screen:
Voltage: Is this voltage before or after charge?
Charged: ???
Discharged(mAh): ???

Regards, RD

I installed it, then uninstalled it within 5 minutes.

Most of it is completely incomprehensible to me, or maybe i'm just thick.

Is it just basically an RC diary for recording notes about accidents, as well as a countdown timer?

That one.. It's the current voltage of the batt. As in right now. this moment.
Charged is the capacity before driving" used to update on max capacity over time. just leave it as max batt capacity,.

Discharged is how much capacity you've used on that flight which minuses from the charged value, if discharge is more than charged, final capacity will be negative.

Must have taken a dumb pill today, Still confused!

Lets say I have a 3.7 V batt that is 600mAh 15C (by the way, all C ratings default to 20C and will not update.)
When fully charged it reads 4.18 to 4.22. After a 5 min flight, it reads 3.68 to 3.76. Ater a 1 hour charge back at 4.21 with an input of XXX mAh.

Voltage = ??? Still not sure what V to use.
Charged = 600
Discharged mAh = XXX

first I'll use the average values just for an example.
3.7v 600mah is keyed into the batt type itself. Need only to key in once.

Then after a full charge, press charged button and put in
//////////////////
voltage 4.2v
Charged 600mah
Discharge 0mah
//////////////////

after that 5 min flight,
//////////////////
Voltage 3.7v
Charged 600 mah
Discharge x(amount you've used)
//////////////////

After charging again
//////////////////
voltage 4.2v
Charged 600mah
Discharge 0 zero..
//////////////////

done!

The truth is, I don't even know if the timer is for the duration of the charging or the flight time. Gosh.. Cuz it works both ways

hi

I will try to better explain :

voltage it is normally when the battery is charged

explanation of charged or discharged:

a charger "modern" has 2 modes: charge and discharge

if you discharge the batteries and then you charge it, we know the total capacity of the battery
but it has to cycle every X is not good for battery life

discharged:
- You have programmed our charger in discharge mode, the number that gives you the charger when the battery is empty,
obviously after the battery must be charged
- If not used the program discharge the number is 0.

charged: this is the number that gives you the charger when the battery is full (with or without the use of discharge).

if have seen the chart "Charged", the blue line is the total capacity of the battery (it is numbers fictitious)

--------------------------------

-----------------------------

tip: when there are no models, the app offers the possibility to load the demo

thank you for the bug returns

I received by email, two other bugs
- "Bar code scanner" that planted the app (I guess the API has changed)
- It takes at least insert one chrono in order to insert a charge

This weekend I will look at all the bugs

I notice that now the RC is in pause so I not use my app
and now I'm on another project that takes all my free time

Nice work ..

And sorry to hear that you stoped RC ...

best regards,
Stefan

PS: If I had known that there is something like that out there. Maybe I would not have made: RC Lipo and Flight log. but it was fun and follows a diffrent concept.
