My fan broke. i guess ill order a new fan. hyperflow?

Did the housing get squeezed when it was assembled in the fuselage? I run all the dynamically balanced setups at full throttle on 4S before I ship them out so I know the rotor does not hit the housing. Just send it back and I will fix it.

WOW, this thing has power! I'm impressed. Unfortunately the fan broke. The housing did not get squeezed when assembled. I carved out enough space for it to sit. It is difficult to explain but the back part of the fan was pressed up on the motor housing. The shaft and the motor can move in and out.
I will send it back tomorrow.

Sorry, hope no one was in the way when that went flying! I guess that explains the screech huh? Hyperflows have worked for me, but there are loads of fans on the net that are usable on the EF-16; the stock fan is 68mm I think.

Do people glass both the inside and outside of the bottom intake of the lower ducting?

I have a quick question. I am finally starting to build my first Phase 3 F-16. I plan to keep everything stock, except that I am glassing the entire plane. I am looking at two different servos, and I was wondering which one you would recommend for the stock set up.

HS-65MG with 22(oz.-in) of torque weighing in at .4oz.

Or

HS-82MG with 39(oz.-in) of torque weighing in at .6oz.

Hi Gary! You bet guys, the products Gary pointed to are great add ons to your EF-16 and help them survive those "not so perfect" landings, and make access to the power system easy, (I use them on my EF-16 and I'm glad I did). I'll be in touch soon Gary, just ordered EF-16 #2, (will need a belly pan and screw mounts for it; ventral fins too I think), and I'm going to put a CS 10 blade fan in a Squall soon, (with thrust vectoring), so I'll need some of your stuff for that one too.
Hey, I recently noticed that Dubro stole your design for skis, (they should pay you royalties),......I'm absolutely sure they won't be as durable or useful as yours are! You only get the best "made in the USA" parts from Gary.
