In the Phase 3? No, but I have a 10-blade 4s lying around that was meant for a Habu.... honestly the fan/motor weighs as much as the frame then add a large enough battery to feed a 85A ESC and you're talking a flying paper-covered tank.

I'm sticking a SAPAC MB-1 into my next AND LAST Phase 3. This jet is great for tinkering but I have a graveyard of frames now

Took a crack at some elec retracts on the F-16 Mock-up seems to work pretty good.

Looks good Parpar!! Finally got mine finished last night.

But the NOSE retract is going to be the fun one..... hehe

Looks Cool, Have you tried landing with them yet. How did they work.Could you tell me what retracts you used, possible link. And could you show some pictures of how they are mounted including the nose retract.

They are the hobby people 4lbs electric retracts. i have not tried them yet. Today i am buying some wire to bend up the gear. The stuff i have been using was too thin and used just to mock things up.

I will post more pictures tonight.

FYI right now to save weight i am not making the nose wheel steerable.

Great flying video, with a nice power set up, showing how good this little plane can fly! But tell me, why did you belly land on the Tarmac instead of all that nice short soft grass? Have you got something to protect the underside on there? Great flying anyway!

Thanks buddy for the kinds remarks!!

I've re-enforced the belly with some fiberglass(.75 ounce fiberglass cloth). I've had some tall grass/weeds at random spots catch the 'Elevons' and tear them up.(PTSD)

Eran,

Try some RC car chassis protector on the belly and wing tips for tarmac landings.
It will protect the fiberglass, and not shred like packing tape.
It's very durable material (polypropylene I believe)

thats a great way to install retracts!!!!!!!! i didnt think it would be feasible on this plane, due to the thin wings. but thats a great idea!!!
