"When" you crash and total one, save that bushing out of the pylon to use for the extra support point on your next one! Thats where mine came from.

You might be able to find a suitable bushing from the McMaster Carr website or catalog....they have pretty much everything.

My 2nd one is still sitting un maidened. North texas weather has been crazy the last week. Snowing one day, 70 degress and windy the next, rainy the next day, gusts up to 60mph the next day. ughhhh

Awesome day today. 4 maidens, 3 went perfect, one not so much. The P3 F16 was perfect. I have the Detrum fan and 60 amp esc combo with HS65MG's. One 4 cell it has to be at or over 100mph. Also flew the Hobbyking Stinger with a metal 64mm edf in it. The Stinger is faster, no doubt, but the icing on the cake was the Sundowner on 5 cell, its a rocket ship. Took me like 5 trys to land it, its just too slick, wont slow down. I like the P3, today was my first edf flight. I have a Habu with a 2w20 and CS 10 blade on deck too. Fun stuff.

Sounds like some good flights. Try that detrum on 5s. Will get you closer to 1000 watts

You can use just about anything man. Doesnt have to be fancy. Servo eyelets, spare parts, could prolly even use a servo arm if you cut off the arms and use the screw hole. That or walmart, home depot, lowes, etc will have something useable

or a small square of plywood with the proper sized hole drilled in it ,i got mine from a robart wheel/tire,they come with several different sizes.

Anybody using a DX8 and can share your mix setup. Getting to that tomorrow and could use a heads up.

Almost ready to maiden. Mine came in heavy for some reason. No glass, kit with my 70mm edf, 45 amp esc, 4s 3600 lipo weighs 33oz AUW.

33oz will hand launch and fly fine as long as the CG is correct. I have flown f-16s from 20oz to 32oz and they will all fly perfect. At 33oz if its to nose heavy (big lipo) the nose will tend to drop on turns. So just get the CG correctly.
