Stunt Runt plans?

Just wondering if anyone has plans, or even photos, of an old model kitted by Joy Products called the Stunt Runt. This was a 16" ws profile biplane for .049 power and came out in the late 1950s. I've been an RC guy for the last few decades, but my sister recently completed a Goldberg Stuntman 23 she started 40 years ago (!) so now I need a controlliner too!

My own exposure to a model named "Stunt Runt" was a built-up half A model sold by Fox Manufacturing in the late 1950s, early 60s, but it was a monoplane, not a biplane. The Fox kit had a wingspan of about 20 - 22 inches.

I went crazy trying to find anything to do with the Stunt Runt. Eventually, I found that Joy Products was the original name for Balsa USA, and wrote to them. The owner was VERY helpful, and sent me the plans for the 09-powered version, built-up wings and fuse, but could not find the original plans for the 049 version.

Then I found out that Blackhawk Models was producing it as the "Navy Fighter". I ordered it, paid some heavy tolls to the marketer, the post office, and the Customs bandits, but now I finally had my Stunt Runt. The plastic cowl is a nice touch, and I cut away the fuselage canopy for the original shape. Because I got rid of glow engines in '68, I had to compromise a bit to mount my PAW 55, using an old Ace mount. I'm sure the 55 will generate far more thrust than the original Cub 049 did, and be quieter about it as well. Here it is ready for doping.

That looks....

very close to the original. Nice job! Would it be possible to see a side-on photo, to get an idea of the fuselage shape?

Here's a couple of profiles, plus a pic of the Ace mount, minus the motor...

The name Stunt Runt attracted my attention, but the Stunt Runt I'm familiar with was an .049 powered RC job from plans in the April 1959 Flying Modells. Built one with escapement that didn't fly, and in the 80's, built one with 2 channel radio. Flew very well.

Hm. Maybe, but I don't remember any plans for the original Joy Products Stunt Runt, as all the parts were pre-cut. I duplicated mine again and again from card templates I made from the original; cheating for sure, bit I had very little money back then (1951 or so). As I said, the Blackhawk Navy Fighter is as close as it gets.
