I live in a rough apartment. I didn't know it would be this bad but at least a few times a week the police are there breaking up fights. Some neighbor had been beating on the wall through different ways, causing the parrot to get scared and beat it's self up in it's cage.
It lost feathers and one day began weaving as if it had a head injury and by the way it looked out the window, wanted out of here badly. My financial situation prevents me from moving soon.

One day I came home and he was beating very badly on the upper deck, making very loud bangs and thumps. A friend of his said you better quit, here he comes around the corner.
The man overdosed twice and has spent about two months in jail over domestic problems. I ended up having to take the bird to a shelter where it has been adopted. It costs about $1200 total to take one of these parrots home. If you think in terms of money, it was a noticeable loss.
This parrot has been very friendly and well mannered, no attacks or bad habits. It was even paper trained and told me when it needed to go to the paper. Any time of day or night, the bird would hop up on my shoulder and be friends. It was a shame for such a peaceful friendly parrot to suffer from a dope addict and troublesome person.

The police said the way he was going about it left them with no choices of how to stop it. It's gone now and had it had the better life I could keep it in before here, it would have been around another 10 or 15 years.

I had to move here because a bunch of drunks kept trying to tangle me up in my heli for two years. I got sick of it one day and got into a fight. A judge ordered me to move or stay out of fights for six months or get a jail sentence. I tried to move. Things are worse, I could take me getting it better than watching my pet suffer.

Now I know what the loss is like. And when his children grow up, get dope stuffed in their mouth. get endangered, beaten and cheated, he'll suffer it too, unless he is a psychopath. Might be it.

However will pray for you and the parrot. Hope the little guy gets better.

With that said, I'm sorry I've been snide towards you in the past. It's just hard to believe that someone can have so many issues with people.

Either way, I hope you find peace.

I had to take him to be adopted. I'm stuck here. I don't have any kids, but I think I can guess the nightmares the abuse of an offspring can be. I didn't get violent over it, don't plan to but sometimes when I see them laughing about it gets tough.

No amphibious assault planned.

I like chop, I think me and him understand eachother a little. With that said, I feel I can add this. If you keep getting into trouble everywhere you go, maby you should look in a mirror to see where it starts.

Um, unless they were on YOUR side of the wall, they were not "torturing your pet."

yep. But this has been pointed out MULTIPLE times already, to no avail.

Since I got hurt I got stuck in a few low rent areas with a bit too much XYY. Good news, they're trying to put me back to work and I may just get out of these traps.

You won't get any aggression from me, I just have low tolerance to it. What if I were to do the same ? Then yes I could say I was to blame.

Did your bird make a lot of noise?
I had a cockatoo for about six months. I had to give it away because it was disrupting life in my home. It was impossible to talk on the phone, or even have a conversation with a visitor in the house because of the racket. What went on when no one was home is anybodies guess.

The bird was no where near as noisy as the fights. I asked and they closest ones said it wasn't a problem. Got babies crying, thumping, yelling, cars and motorcycles blasting through the lot, and it goes on.

I guess I had to go through it. I do keep in mind that I don't have a clue as to where I am, and where I could go. A person could probably spend a million years in a predicament God holds them in. I try to be careful of what I do.

What Would You Do if Someone Tortured Your Pet ?

I would pray to our Lord Jesus Christ for the misled persons salvation at least that is what I would say if I was a suspect when they found him turned into mulch.

Ditto! I have absolutely no use for any person who deliberately tortures/injures/kills pets or domestic animals without just cause. (there is never a just cause for torture). Such people are psychopaths or sociopaths, and the world is better without them.
