For you guys up north, good news. Spring is headed north and has past hehe some tie ago. We are on lunch break now. My first flight in the AULD I got a 3:00 flight. My other 2 flights were not as good. I videos Adrian's flights. He got a 3:00, something less, I can't rember, and another 3:00 flight. The wind has died down a nit and it is hot. I am having loads of fun.
A hawk flew over our area an Donnie almost tore him a new one on launch.

Hey Jim, thanks for all the great updates. I just got back from helping someone move all day, and it was fun to read through. Sure wish I was there!

Put a little ballast in that Polaris! At 8.5 oz that light layup it is probably suffering in the wind. Get it up around 10 or so. I bet Donnie and Paul have some shaped lead you could use. It just drops into that nice molded box below the wing saddle. It REALLY helps the Polaris in wind to carry some weight, as long as there is lift to be found.

Having fun is what it's all about. Good job Jim!

Sorry to hear about GMo's plane... it nearly takes some of the steam off what I've been fuming about for a couple hours.

A 11yo who shall remain nameless (alive but nameless), decided instead of buckling up his brother he'd 'get out of the way' by jumping backwards into the rear area of the Expedition. that's where my Stobel V2 was resting . Broken boom and tails, were what I could see at first glance. We were running late to a Eagle Scout court of honor.
