I think 10 sounds good. I could go earlier if people wanted to, but it'll certainly be warmer at 10 than at 9.

I think we should plan on a 10am start. Who's organizing the tasks and "stuff"?

Officially, it is the northerners turn for the monthly. But since I probably can't make this one, and the southern guys already volunteered to spearhead an effort for the gratitude flip-off, I felt good about letting them run with it. If we have a December one then we can do it up north, which would bring the 2012 total to 6 down south and 4 up north for the year. Not too bad considering there are probably more active guys down south. But it's up to the group, whatever you guys want to do. An organized December contest might be kind of tricky to pull off.

I would say for December we just roll with it and if we all end up w/ a weekend we can fly, we do it then.

6 south 4 north sounds almost fair as well when you look at the group domicile locations.

Sod farm 10:00 start. Unless someone needs it a little later.

Task list

Ladder
1,2,3,4
3x3:20
AULD 5x3:00 max

and if there is time we will do a 5x2:00

I am hoping that if we have enough people and enough devices, we could do self timing on a few of these task to allow more actual flying time. But if you guys dont like that idea then we will do proper timers on all rounds.

But AULD would be pretty easy w/o a timer other than no one to call air for you, but you had better have a read at launch anyways!

In general I think we need timers. Timing/helping is a skill that needs practice just like piloting. But I too think AULD would be a great candidate for everyone flying at the same time and keeping track of their own flights (assuming everyone has the equipement to do that).

Weather was great up here today. I flew 5 tasks in sunshine, 48 degrees, no wind, and light lift. Hope it's just the same tomorrow...
