Alas, I will not be going.
I was wondering if you were up for meeting at the south Davis field sometime this weekend. I should be getting the Dlg from brandon Friday and hoping for some help/instruction with the maiden.

I may be able to come out this weekend, let me get back to you. I know you said you're an early morning person, which works better for me. I'll let you know soon.

I can be to the field by 8:30am Sat. or Sun., I have to leave the field by 10:30am on Saturday though. Let me know what works for you.

Glad to have another flipper on board!

Saturday is suppose to be real windy, is it hard to fly these in the wind? Sunday might be better for less wind.

Wind is not ideal especially for trimming/setup. You will have to learn to fly in wind someday, but not for maiden flights . We'll shoot for Sunday.

Well, I'm going to have to back out for Sunday morning. Sorry. What is your weekday schedule like?

The reports I'm seeing call for <10mph, so it shouldn't be too bad. At these high temps, the wind will probably only serve to dry us out quicker.

No worries, I'm pretty much open all weekend.

Edit- didn't notice the weekday part. I work until 330 during the week and do go out to the field after work a few times a week.

Mike - nice flying in the prelims. You've come a long way in three years. Look forward to the stories.
