I doubt we will need the bench. Even if one guy had to ride on the floor or in a lawn chair, it would be doable for the short ride to/from the hotel.

- Standard Disser Dbox
- Carbon veil tail feathers ( I have the standard tails, the carbon veil might not last too long)
- Rudder and elevator - wire and springs
- Wing servos - ION DS57's
- Rudder - ION DS57
- Elevator - had a DS57 but when given down (pulling on the spring), it went whacko, so I replaced it with a D47
- 8 channel Frsky receiver.
- 330 battery and regulator from Skip Miller

The maiden went much better than the Polaris, in that I didn't break the tail boom I didn't do any power launches (if you can call ANY of my launches "power"), but I can tell that I will be able to launch this higher than I can launch my Polaris. I only flew for about 15 minutes because by the time the I got back from hot fudge sundaes and the Frisbee players and kids got off my field, it was getting duskie. It seems like it wasn't bothered by me messing with the camber as much as the Polaris is. I liked having the rudder. I'll take it to work tomorrow and fly at the Cemetery and have more to report.

Thanks Donnie, it's nice to have a backup. It's also the first time I've been able to compare "real" DLG's... I fly mode 1

Attention troops. I just got home from a very long day of work. My wife just got back from insta care and has some bacterial stomach thing that is killing her. She will be fine, but its gonna be a few days.

So...... I know you are gonna be mad at me, but can we leave Friday @ 5:00 instead?

I have not been home till late every night this week and its costing everyone. I could leave even earlier on Friday if needed, but being home tomorrow night would really help.

I could swing by AD's place tomorrow and get his stuff and TBM could load his stuff tomorrow night as well.

555 miles from my house to the field. I figure its a doable 8.5 hour drive.

Comments?

EDIT: SEE BELOW

And once again, sorry, but I need to keep the home fires from burning.
