Here's my altimeter log file from yesterday. I managed to stretch out a 5 minute flight on wisp of a thermal.

I also managed to drop my Epona on it's tail when the nose cone slipped off in my hand. I'll be taping it on from now on!

Got alot done on the
DLG last night. Here is a list of the major advances made in just 1 night!!!!

1. Drilled the 2 holes for the tail pushrods in the back of the boom.
2. Thought about mixing up some epoxy to glue the pod to the boom.

That about wraps it up!!!!!

So to recap. I got ALOT done last night!!!!!! Beat that Finch!!!!!!!!!

The late arrival of my Ipod touch did not help the progress one bit. Thanks mail dude for waiting till after Christmas to bring my Christmas present!!!!

Tonight could be a big one, now that I am on a roll!!!!!!

The lighthawk series uses .018 for the rudder & .014 for the elevator, in teflon tubes. This is what I used for a repair, also use it for hot wire cutting. It is stainless, but is picked up with a magnet. Here it is available in .014, .016, .018 & .020 sizes.

While the Epona was apart for some minor repairs I weighed the ballast pod. It's 3.74oz

That is pretty stout! Your plane was carrying it well though. Didn't seem to mind at all. I recall you won some AULD with it last time we were at BDO.

The weather and the plane are the truth although not all of the truth... I will admit one thing that the weather got bad here as well. It rained down here when it snowed up there and it got down to 40 when it got down to 0 up there.
