100% truth! Kid you not. AD will probably go out there after he gets back from the Vet. Maybe he will get lucky and get a claw mark.

Let me tell you how to solve the problem
Get the kids married off---grandma has to tend grand kids
no more problems about time to fly, just go.

Cool story Jon! I've had hawks follow and swoop at my DLG's several times but haven't taken an actual hit yet. They usually just bluff charge. Maybe it miscalculated and pulled out a little too late (poor piloting by the bird)? The Alula is another story. Mine gets directly attacked all the time on the slope. But it is also smaller than most hawks and probably less intimidating to them than a full 60" span blaze orange DLG. Anyway, glad your B3 didn't sustain any damage. That would be a bummer (although cool ) to actually be taken down by a raptor. It will be fun to see how those local hawks react next Saturday when they see 6 or 7 DLG's in the air at the same time. I suspect they won't be so aggressive...

I had similar conditions today at Mountain Green elementary during lunch hour. Just about every pre-launch read I made was correct and found lift right where I expected it (I won't mention that lift was EVERYWHERE ). Spec outs with the Vandal were easy. Got bored with that and started focusing on low level hookups (20' or less) and trying to work it back up to launch height from there. Very challenging. Succeeded 2 or 3 times out of many attempts. Fun stuff!

Mike - Just looking at the numbers in the F3K Tour before they recalculate, it looks like you will move up a spot or more. But then after the Bruce or what ever is next you could slide a bit. It looks like Aradhana will move up quite a bit from 24th which there is not doubt he is a good pilot. I enjoyed watching him at BSOCO.

It is interesting to see your last three numbers 90.75, 91.65, 96.52. They are all going in the right direction. You show improvement each time out, so I salute you for a great job and I am sure we all here in Utah will be rooting for you.

Thanks nice Jim.

Yup, I will slide out of the top 10 for sure when the likes of Oleg G, Nick T, Phil B, and Greg N post their 4th contest scores. But I'll enjoy #9 while I can...
