You are correct, the East side is the flat side. Bad mental gymnastics this morning - sorry.
There are two entrances to the sod farm. Both are on Telegraph Street. The road is a loop around the entire sod farm. You indicate one in the lower left, the other is in the lower right, right at the at the street corner. To my knowledge, there is no access from the residential area as you show in the upper left of the satellite image.
Regarding the setup area, it's really going to depend on what the sod farm looks like on that day. They are cutting and planting on a continual basis. So, the farm doesn't look like the satellite picture. The area you have marked is actual grass farm area. It may have sod there, it may not. Just depends. At the very least, I don't think we want vehicles out on the actual farming area. I'll call the owner as we get closer to the contest and discuss the set up, just so we are aware of any issues.
Regarding the power lines on the east side, I first had this concern. But, this sod farm is 50 acres. It doesn't take much of a walk out from the east side to be in a flyable area. A lot changes when you walk/fly it the first time. It's a lot bigger than it looks on the satellite image.
