I just finished a build, and got it up and flying last weekend. Just received another v2 kit, for spare parts which I'm sure I'll be using shortly

That is an unbelievable crash price. How much of this can be shared with the HK450 V2?

When you consider free shipping, this complete kit might be a better deal at $32

Different feathering shaft and blade grip bearing to support the bigger shaft. I believe the V1 had a 3mm feathering shaft and the v2 had a 4mm. So with that said the head I would guess would be different to to support the bigger shaft also

See, this is the kind of info that I think needs a sticky, the differences between versions so that we can know what parts are common versus particular to one or another model. I am sure that most parts will fit any one, but what are the differences? Even if only for HKs, I think it might be helpful.

Happy flying. John.

100% agree!

Now I got me heli back together and I got a nasty shake in my tail(it looks to be vib related). I guess I need to check to see if my TT is no longer straight. The head is perfect. I am also thinking of adding another TT bearing to help keep the TT straight? Just a though.

Has anyone found any good source of replacement screws? I just ordered the replacement ones form HK and they are just as soft as the ones that came with the heli. I really cant tighten anything down on this bird. I have tried the turnigy 1.5mm driver and some other ones by e-flite and still the same issue.

Edit:

Here's the same thing in black oxide in packs of 100. A bit more economical, unfortunately the 20mm size don't come in black oxide from this company.

I buy stainless steel ones off ebay. They are VERY strong compared to the aluminium ones. Extra piece of mind on the blade grips as well
