Do you have a watt metter? Also, does it stutter with a prop as well as without one?

I may not have flown much this year but I would hate to loose that field.

I flew with the club in Half-Moon Bay in California. Their monthly dues was $100 a month or more for the flying field. We really have a lot to be grateful for. We have more flat landing area at the sod farm than almost any flying field I have seen.

Hi John, Yea it shutters, no load, with a load, doesn't matter when a 3s is connected, Like I said I tried 3 diff ESC's same on all of them..... Hey I redid the unicorn I got from you today Fixed & rewired the LED's & installed a RX for my new DX7 can't wait to try night flyin It...

Then you have to have a cold solder somewhere in one of the components you are not changing, or a short. You said this is a rewind????

If its a rewound motor did you check for shorts on all 3 phases of the wind?

Great work guys, I think this is one of the most generous years yet. I cant remember other year amounts, but this seems like alot!!!! Thanks guys, I know times are tough, but I love that you guys are so willing to kick in a little thank you. It goes a LONG WAYS in making sure they continue to love having us around and being soo willing to accommodate us.

All right kids, just FYI, I posted the Christmas Basket fund over in the Utah DLG thread and so far, we have as much $ in the basket from out of state guys who just flew at the sod farm once for our Big Contest, as we do from the locals! Just sayin.........

And yes, a BIG DOG in Arizona just put us up to $500.00.

He didn't say the $1300 was invested in "that" plane. He probably invested it in the stock market.

Years ago when i started flying thats about how much a plane would cost from combatwings.com Hobbyking and cheap hobby sites were not created yet. If you factor in hs81mgs, Astroflight motor, Kokam lithium backs, brushed esc with brushless sensor pack( because brushless esc's hadn't been on the market yet) and a decent fm tx/rx set. You could easily spend 1300.00 on a wing. Even now if you go on to the site, one of there custom wings still costs over a thousand bucks for everything. Now days though that plane wouldn't be worth more than maybe a hundred bucks though. Its funny how things have changed. I have brushless motors that i paid 300 bucks for 10 years ago. and now you can find the same thing for 10 bucks.
