Here is a picture I shot that shows the moon more clearly, so clear you can see the man in the moon.

I was just reminded I have a conflict tomorrow AM so I won't be out flying. I will be at Lake Powell most of next week so it'll be a few weeks before I get back to flying.

Ryan - I will bring a DLG build DVD tomorrow to the Sod Farm. Usually I don't like to lend my DVDs out because they tend to not come back, but with you I have no worries.

I had a blast flying my widow maker to day for my first time. It flies great and is definitely my favorite plane so far. It glides so well that never really comes down.

Had a great day at the farm. Flew my big Waco a couple of times. Basically just practiced shooting touch and goes most of the time. Definitely did a better job landing than two weeks ago in Logan. It does like to weathervane into the wind after touch down. Second flight had wind just about across the runway. Flew my repaired Kunlun once , but it's got some serious prop/spinner balance issues. I'll need to sort that out before flying again.

Diego brought out his big Mustang. Pretty plane. Flies great with his new prop (MAS 18x12). Unfortunately the landing didn't go as well as the rest of the flight.

So what happened to Diego's plane? Is it alright, or did it take damage?

Sad I missed it today. Stayed home to hang out and relax with the family, get a little work done. I flew for like 4 hours yesterday, so don't feel like I missed out too bad... 3 hours in the morning at the Dawn Patrol, and an hour at sunset.

I don't know if any of you saw last night's sunset, but it was spectacular to say the least. I went out and got some Starmax P51 flights in while it was at it's peak of beauty and had a really great time. Put on a nice show for the park folk and then stayed and flew my night plane once it started getting dark. Great way to blow an hour, even if you're by yourself.

I bought a head-mount for the GoPro, which I had not used yet. After flying one flight in the sunset and just peeing my pants with how beautiful the sky was, I was mad at myself for forgetting I had that head mount. So I put it on and recorded the second flight, but the sun was down enough that it wasn't hitting the plane any more. Grrr. Missed it! The 2nd flight was still nice, so I'm uploading it to YouTube now. Slow bandwidth today for some reason.

The Mustang will require some work. Diego should be able to knock it out in a couple of weeks while he is up at night with his new baby.
