lol. ^^^
Ok, lets start with something cool. Here's Trappy's latest FPV vid.
Awesome stuff, but even more so when you consider they are doing this from the bottom of the mountain about 10k's away.
That's huge stakes and a long hike up a mountain to get your $1000 worth of gear back (if you are lucky enough to find it). Props to this guy for pushing the boundries.
Half the nerds in the FPV forum get stuck into him, but none do it anywhere near as well as he does. This guy really can walk the walk - Enjoy.

That's because the nerds can't do it half as well as trappy. Wobby is the same, they heap on him basically because they can't do it as well. I hate the FPV forum, too many peanuts

I go for the vids and the inspiration and only look at the tech stuff when I need to know something. It's like the radio and batteries forums. Throw a pile of nerds together and they will bicker about ANYTHING until the cows come home.
Damn wieners.

Yep, there's people out there who'll b!tch and moan about the way someone else did something but not ever actually do something themselves. I see it a lot also in the electronics forums/chats. It's like the grumpy guys who sit on the flying benches week after week, professing they know it all and downplaying all those actually flying.

I've got a spot on that bench lately ... but my 6' bogie will be here soon

At least you're building... I'm not, though I have 4 planes and probably more to finish yet. Ghar... stupid medical tests put the fear of mortality into me and make me stop doing happy things.

Upside, I picked up my father's old mountain bike yesterday (GIANT Acapulco), crazy to think it's about 15 years old but still looks pretty good. The seat is painful though, will get myself one of those retro broad seats and at least be comfortable

...is actually up and flying - thank Gawd at last...

Having and absolute ball with the HK mini-Swift.

And the Phoenix, Cessna, mini-F16 and mini-F18 have all been up in the air too - though a couple of them are suffering from 'ground effects' atm.

With daylight savings now, I get about half an hour after I get home to whiz down to the local 'field' and do a couple of packs. And....loving it

BJ

(doesn't want to end up one of them 'grumpy olde fartz'...)
