No Idea of weight Astro but it is no pronlem flying. Takes off within 10ft.
Did a mod to help landings ant takeoffs. Fitted a wheel.

Whatchya do to fix your taileron problems?

Coz that's basically what I had on my F22 maiden today - no authority. Well, sometimes bugger all, then the next move on the sticks it stood up vertical (sometimes with half the stick input)

Still, that ChangeSun 90mm sounded sweet Even with the el-cheapo HK 1400kv inrunner in it - so it wasn't all bad...

I fitted 4 servos to fix the problem. I tried to cheat and use only 2 but not strong enough. Live and learn.

Oh...so your problem was 'servo flutter' then?

I'm starting to thing my CG may have been out, as well as too much slop on the tailerons

No, not flutter but not enough power to operate elevons. Now it's ok with two servos each side like it should have been

All the FPV gear is now in the wing and working as it should. May do a flight next friday.

Any of you guys using the Turnigy 9x with the er9x firmware loaded on it? Are these ce certified for use in Australia?
