Older Man Tony!

Tony sent me some pics of the Migs he built. Two are for his two grandsons....can you tell which two?? They will more than likely not fly....more for display in thier rooms. The other two are his to fly....cmon Tony.....lets get them in the air! They look great!!

Hit a snag in my build. The correx I found is too narrow for the fuse to be cut from one piece. It's perfect for the wings though so I will cut another set so I will have a backup wing or maybe build two complete Migs.

I'm thinking that I will have to resort to actually buying some material ;eek. I can only get 4mm locally, I suppose that I'll end up with a sled.

It shouldn't be too expensive, last time I bought a sheet here it cost about R40 ($5.70) for a great big 2.5m x 1.2m (100" x 48") sheet.

The only local place that I checked (sign shop) wanted $42.50 for a 4x8 sheet of 4mm. I'm going to check around some more.

Can someone confirm the length of the fuselage template when scaled up to give a WS of 1320mm please?

815mm...that for the fuzz blank....incl an extra 15mm.

The extra 15mm I add onto the front nose (stretch the nose), to lessen the nose weight.

So.. Correx is on the way... probably wont see it until next week due to the 2 Bank Holidays we have Friday and Monday.
Still waiting on plans... Can't start anything with out them

Already got my colour scheme planned and an idea for the nose cone! Itching to get started!!!
