Guys ,
I have an idea of putting streamers on the tails of our Migs and then doing combat.
You know....? cutting the streamer instead of each others Migs.
Also we should get together one day and bring ALL our Migs together(finished or not) and then see how many there are in this part of the world.Sean you could take some pics and post them for people to count and see.

Rhys,
I am visiting relatives in Cardigan in May, just might have to slip away for a day.
I have seen Youtube footage of "The Bwlch", it does look good.
BTW, how the hell do you pronounce that, there's no vowels..lol

Regarding your hunt for Correx, for the fuzz, either rob an estate agents board or ask the local estate agent who their sign erector is and get one from them. Sale boards are generally 5mm and quite strong.
2mm from e bay. 5 sheets of 8x4, to your door £27.

Hey Sean, what is the diameter of your spinner? I want to buy a plastic one. I may try to mold one in the future but I don't have a lathe to make a plug.

BTW, I finally found a big piece of 3mm correx, woohoo!!!

Thanks,
EB

Looking to get the plans printed this week on A1 paper (equivalent to D size i believe @ 22x34inches)
Before I find a printers that can do it (my local only does A3 which is 1/4 of A1) does the stock plan give a wingspan on 1320mm?
44.8 inches is approx 1200mm wingpsan. With the quoted 1320mm wingspan....?

Here's to the first Welsh Correx Mig on the horizon!!

Ok so it seems that none of the printers are me print anywhere near A0. Not even A1!
I've found the A0 plans but are of no use to me due to the above

How much do I need to englarge the original tiled plans by to get a 1320mm wingspan?
I'll have to print A4 and scale it up in Adobe! B*****ks!

PS: Sorry for the double post. But the Correx should arrive today and I've still got no plans!!

I found that enlarging the plan by 16% resulted in a span of approx 1330mm.
Just experimented until I got to that span and had them printed on A0 paper but never used them as I built with Sean.

Well the local printer will do the full plans on A3 (approx 12 A3 sheets - 4 A3's per sheet) for a measly sum of £5!
So... how do I enlarge by 16% and tile the full size plans to suit A3 printing?
Christ I'm a doughnut when it comes to this

Hi Simon,
Not yet! My paypal has gone AWOL so was unable to sort the payment so had to cancel.
Trying to source enough 4mm correx at the moment. Your link gives me plenty of 2mm to last a while.
Rhys

EDIT: I dnt have plans ready yet so will probably wait till I do and then order as I dont know how much I'll need. Makes sense I think

With 5 sheets of 8x4, you could build for europe. I supplied half a dozen guys in the club with the sheets I didn't need.
We've built ours out of 5mm sale boards and the 2mm off ebay. The extra mm adds a touch more strength for very little weight gain.
Regards
