I couldn't begin to tell you what a mepr is. Typo perhaps? Trek did anyone post the final standings from IL? Mitch was suppose to but never seen a thing.

At any race you should start with harder compounds and work your way down the color chart. Harder tires will give you best laptimes. I rarely go down in compound or shore.

These are basic colors with shore numbers for those who need a chart

Black - 40 shore
Purple - 40 shore
Lilac - 37 shore
Double Pink - 35 shore
Grey - 35 shore
Magenta - 32 shore
Pink - 30 shore
Yellow - 30 shore
White - 25 shore

Why not go with the basic black white and pink compounds like everyone races with. I don't know anyone who runs the wide rear anymore. Everyone I know races with the narrow rear and wide fronts.

dad and i posted a question about tire cap glues in another thread. we received different names of glues to use but whats AKA glue? the others we can't by at the hobby shop unless we order it. is there a glue we can use from the hardware store instead?

AKA is AKA Racing Glue. Its for rubber tires. It works great for caps. I've used pvc and rubber cement to on caps. Both of those can be found in hardware stores but the AKA will be in hobby shops.
