He made has a point if you look at all the karts being discontinued who have issues of tailspin and control loss in cornering.

I agree JM I see why TERC keeps to the basics instead of adding useless T plates, working A arms, rear dogbones and other non functioning designs. Its pure common sense if it works for actual scale why change it to produce in a smaller scale. If you recall I think Lead shared his thoughts on this a while back.

Any new setups this year tire wise? I'm starting off with what I used last year. Hard fronts and Hard rears. I got terrific bite on both crete and asphalt.

Sounds like all the fast drivers will be running the same combos Lead. Hope you put on your best game face this year. Better yet I hope you show up ROLF. I don't want to hear " sorry can't make it I have a important nat or race to go to" deal, buddy bucko!

Lead you still running glue on the sides for a little rear slide break action? I don't think I'll be doing such unless we have to much traction.

Most tracks lay traction compounds to break in new carpets. With old tracks its tacky because of the compounds from past rc. Those of us who race at national events understand the results of side wall glue. With their karts having so much rear bite as it is by adding more would create traction hop.

But keep in mind we mostly run outdoors. We pulled out the carpet maybe a dozen if that times last year. Most seem to enjoy the asphalt. Not sure why my pref is ozite and always will be. Much cleaner to me but we go with the flow and its seems to be what they for now. We may even offer a couple of ovals this year.
