The joystick will work in every mode except hardware manual (which would mean it's set by the R/C channel). If you select Manual Mode in the GCS' control tab, then you can fly it 100% manually....but again, I wouldn't try this until you have some comfort in the auto/stabilization type modes.

I can't copy the pdf, but it is on Page 6. No mention of the anouncments and PIP (of Paul?) that shows up in the Map. So...... is that correct? I assume it has something to do with the manual mode then?

If you uncheck "Manuel Mode" it won't do the Monty Python stuff anymore.

Thanks! By the way, really great job on the ground station. It has been working great with my UDB and AttoPilot. One more thing if you don't mind. I have not been able to get the 3d model to show up on the map but it does show up in instruments. Is that function still available? Windows 7 and your latest download.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and it shows up for me. Does the whole 3D instrument just not show up? Or is it empty? Have you tried selecting a different model?

If the box won't show then there's something wrong with your DirectX installation. If the box is empty, this could be normal until the data starts streaming. If it still doesn't show then check to see if you have a C:\Program Files (x86)\HappyKillmore\GCS\3D Models folder. It's the *.x files that are used in the instrument. The *.dae are for Google Earth.

Got the intrument ok just not on the map. I will look for .dae. By the way, this is on the play back but I can't see how it would be any different. Everything else works great during playback.

Got all the files. Deleted and downloaded several times. Could it be a GE setting? Also updated Direct X files too.
