Man, you guys are great photographers! The action shoots are really something!
Wondering what kind of equipment you folks are using. I know I would like to get a new camera, but haven't a clue as what to get.
The close up action shots are so clear, and capture the scene as if time stopped. Very nice gents.

I shoot with 3 different cameras. All Nikon. A D70 and a P80, and my main camera a D2H. Nothing fancy. I think my D2H is only 4 megapixals. And has been around awhile. But all my lens are 2.8 or faster. Most shots being taken with a 80mm to 200mm zoom lens. The secret is practice, just like sailing.

I shoot with a D300 D70 and a variety of lens flashes and housings most of mine are with a 70-300mm lens

Nice job! I like the 'semi-scale' look (rig, cabin top) it has. Looks like it is performing nicely as well.

It does sail well. It is a little over powered above 10 mph but I designed that way...so it goes downwind screamin'
