Videos are welcome! Just don't want this to become another "YouTube". When I started this thread, I never thought it would be such a great success.
My thanks to all that have posted their photos here!

The design is called Pocohontas.
I really don't know much about it, besides the owner is quite hush-hush about the details of the plans.
Some things are best left to mystery, or not poking at.

These are the only plans I know of in existance:

I don't think they are very good, but they are something.

The Soak at the Oak was held at Oak Hollow Lake, in High Point, NC. It was our club's (Greensboro Model Yacht Club) first regatta. We have at least three different venues to sail from, and utilized two over the race weekend. Fully covered pavillions with power, picnic tables, grills, etc. Parking is very close.

We actively compete with EC12s, Seawinds, and Victorias. We also have a smattering of rg65s, footys, an IOM or two, northwinds, and whatever else floats (hopefully).

Feel free to check out the calendar, and if youre nearby, come visit.

My Dad lives near Knoxville, TN. We get down there several times a year. I've been to NC, but only on business. Beautiful area.

So here is my 10 rater that was built in 1975 as 'Hercules' by a member of the Poole club in the UK. Thanks to the Vintage model yacht club for providing the history. She was raced as a vane boat to start and converted to RC somewhere along the line. Out today with my 12 year old daughter and her 'Mistral'.

As can be seen not much wind....

Dave

Just a quick picture from today's RMYC RG-65 regatta.

you really couldn't ask for a prettier day sailing!

It was good to get out of the beer mines and hang out with some of the guys I only really talk to online. Gotta a lot of good pointers and notes on my upcoming ranger build.
