some of my smaller boats 2 share

Boomer!
can't help posting some of my small boats here for every one!
I live in Shanghai China and have some domestically produced kits. Most of these boats are under 1 meter and have updated rigging, home made of course

You have a great fleet of boats there! Wish you were closer, I'd have do some boat painting and custom rigging for me.

Can you identify the make of your boats not named? I don't know some of them or your beautiful paint work has changed there appearence so much, it is hard to identify them.

Really great work!

THX for your comments Boomer!
there are 3 boats in total.
one is built from an old Thundertiger Victoria hull (tri-colored scheme)
second is a Chinese Shunbo kit called Surmount 800 (actually 780mm in length), which I later get the hull repainted a shooting star scheme and made new sets of rigging, one of them with shark image.
third boat is sold under Robbe's label called Sirius RS 32, which in fact manufactured in Shanghai, China, and we call it 880. The 880 also has been updated with a new carbon mast, 1400mm in height than the original 1250 aluminium one. paneled sails are my handwork.
Do I make it clear?

The 880 looks nice! Can you get them direct from China? Or do you have to go through Robbe?

Thanks for any info,
Brian

Here are some old pictures I have laying around. The first is a start at the 1994 Marblehead Worlds held in NYC. The second was a club Marblehead race. The third is my old Highlander A class boat. It was about 80" long and weighed close to 50 pounds.

Nice looking old Victoria you have there Triplane. Is the rudder homemade? Can you show us the winch setup? Looks like a spool winch, never seen one setup on a Vic before.

Cheers

Brain, Since 880 is sold under Robbe's label, it is not officially distributed in domestic market in China. Anyway, if you want, you can still go directly to the manufacturer.

Triplane, Thank you for the pictures! The cockpit, winch setup is nice, very neat and organized. I like the clear hatch cover. You did a superior job of bringing this Vic back to life. I'm sure she will give you some great sailing adventures for a long time to come.

Thanks again!

Gary

Fantastic starting line shot, maybe the best I've seen! And the Highlander is absolutely lovely. Love the BIG BOATS!!

Gary, thanks indeed. This lil Vic responds to light air very well, and accelerates very quickly.
