Hi all, and thanks Boomer for starting this thread, shows just how photogenic our hobby is.

Love all those big sleek yachts for sure, BUT when you travel a lot and your boat has to fit in your luggage the humble Footy is the way to go.

My 507 Nindita, sailing on the Gold Coast Australia, not sure if that’s the shadow from the sail or disturbed air you can see on the water to leeward of the boat?

Hi guys, I don't have any nice pics of my boats sailing because I am usually all alone, no sailors in this area.

Anyway, here are pics of three of my boats. My absolute favorite is the Soling 50. It is completely scratch built. Most of the fittings were made by hand by me, and based on the ORIGINAL Vortex designs. The deck travellers, rails and risers made completely by hand other than the bearings. The keel stub was hand filed to shape from Aluminium, with the same bulb shape as the original Vortex aluminium keel stub. The keel weight I actually prurchased from a Vortex club president somewhere in southern US (can't remember where/who).

I do have two rady for sailing ODOM's, only took pics of one but you may be able to see it's green hull on a stand in the background.

The final pic is of a Sanibel by Pro Boat. The one thing that I do not like about this one is the huge amount of string shroud lines. One day I may lessen the number and replace with stainless lines.

Thought I would assemble them and take some pics today as we have about 2 inches of SNOW on the ground here in Southeastern Manitoba.

its a $15 key chain spy camera i bought on ebay in a tic tac container with some tape to keep it from floating away. I basically would send it out and film for 10 min then i grabbed stills later on at home.

Not to deep. I sank my 36/600 there the other day (hatch came off and being overpowered by the wind just swamped it). Luckily it just 4-5 feet from shore, it was only waist deep.

I'm actually thinking about building another woody. Now that I have this one under my belt, the next should be a walk in the park, if I build one.

Very cool.. i was thinking it might be a screen grab of the video.. I plan to do some of that myself soon, but with a twist you won't want to miss. So were you were shooting thru the plastic case too.. of so, that's also very encouraging .
