Tell us more about the beautiful hull-- is it mahogany on a fiberglass hull? Or all wood?
Is it one-of-a-kind, or does someone offer these in production?

Thanks!

Beautiful, Bernhard. Is the skipper modeled after you? His face is outstanding, the best I've ever seen.

Bernhard,
Your creativity is amazing!
Just remember that when you get underway in this vessel, everything you see will be properly stowed away! (unless the Captain has been drinking)

Another small but subtle point with all Bernhards offerings is that the steam plant is of a suitable size for the hull in which it is fitted. By this I mean if you look at some others, despite all the detailing, it looks like the plant has been shovelled into the hull with no room to get round it if it were full size.

Bernhards are power plants fitted into a hull and not a hull wrapped round a power plant.

Regards Ian.

Patmat, the hull design is one by Vic Smeed called "River Queen", it can be built as a "Woodie" or there is a glass version. Have a copy of the artical, if you're interested PM me.
