Another Ultimate Hobbies Gem: $29.95 - 34" T-34 Mentor!

Guys,

I found another inexpensive bargain. This Sapac T-34 Mentor is only $29.95 at my LHS, Ultimate Hobbies in Orange, CA. They no longer carry the great S2 Pitts that everyone loves, but I hope this flies just as well. Other vendors sell this plane for much more, so if you're on a budget, this is the ticket. Here are some pics from the box. Enjoy.

The specs could be interpreted as the kit coming with a battery and 4 ch receiver. I'm sure this isn't the case, is it? Also does it come with an esc?

No receiver, battery, or ESC. Just the brushed motor and gear box.

That is excellent, I can add this to my Training Wing collection, for those interested, this T-34C ends up being very similar in scale to the Parkzone T-28 (11.5:1 for the Mentor vs 11:1 for the Trojan).

I have a Park 480 from my latest T-28 looking for a home (I installed a Power 10 to carry the extra weight from full-house scale lighting, flaps and retracts) - I was already planning on scratch building a T-6C 'Texan II' in Navy colors out of 6mm FFF, but this Turbo-Mentor looks like a great addition to the TRAWING. Also planning on the HK T-45 Goshawk and a GWS TA-4J.

Thanks!!

Here is my latest Trojan
