I have a Vortech P51B glass fuse and tail....I have some RG-14 cores that are included...ready to be bagged or sheeted.

Hey Dan, that looks simply superb! Any progress since the post above?
I have used the RG14 foil at standard thickness for my P63 and can as yet see no reason to thin it any. Flies beautifully. It seems that the low wing PSS fly very well generally if built cleanly. Yours should go exceptionally well.
I would fit a rudder though if I were you. The rudder on my cobra makes for nice balanced turns. The plane reveals any slight control commands jerkiness immediately. It is responsive like no other plane that I have flown. When flown without the rudder, the turns are noticeably less smooth and fast.
This is the only recommendation of the designer, Brian Laird, that I disagree with.
