Looks like it'll download the .pdf file. That's for the MM450 bike with the E-gyro.

Go to documents download that and when you get on it go all the down till you see the exploded diagrams then you should find the E-Gyro diagram

i see the exploded view of the gyro but its dose not show anything about wiring or routing of the wires :/ oh well no big deal,once i get it im sure it will all flow, if not there will be someone out there that will be doing the upgrade that will post pics, or maybe we can get chris to post a HOW TO video on assembling the new gyro on the vmx

It does show the wire routing on pp.28 and 34.

Thanx I over looked it. I can't wait for that to come out, I just want to run my bike and have fun all the time instead of worrying about gears and adjustments and all. And it's nice that it's a brushless motor no worries about brushes going bad

i have run my bike about 15 times now and have not had a single problem with the bike i checked the gyro gears after its 6th run and it looked good as new and i run the bike hard , jumping as much as possible and its had its fair share of big crashes hitting a tree once and it just carry,s on time after time

I hope I get a quality made VMX, & E-gyro looks easy to install
but I don't mind taking things apart time to time haha,
Any tips on the gyro guys? e.g- gears, clutch etc
Can't wait to get mine, ordering it on Friday im ordering the updated version with the metal gears.
Also could I ask is there any more different things on the upgraded version?

i only had one problem with the screws on the planet gears coming loose, but i just can wait till i dont have to spin the wheel first to get the gyro going, and worry about keeping it moving fast to keep stability , it will be a lot of fun to be able to drive slower and still have that stability.

I am a tech for Toyota and pep-boys , 16hrs a day 6 days a week, taking the bike apart is a walk in the park, just excited for bigger and better


chris, i remember pages back i was asking about the slipper cover coming off so easy and you said the new bike would have a diff cover, its looks the same in the book, any updates on it? i lost another one just riding around at work .

any one know somewhere to get them cheap or a mod for the cover? ebay charges more for shipping then the price of the cover just about

IIRC, the cover is just $.99 at 2wheelhobbies. Order a few when you get some upgrades.

Nice, how much do they charge for shipping? Ppl on eBay are charging up to $8 for shipping on a part that dosent weigh more then a peice of paper lol

Just got my parts for my vmx, SMR TYRES, alloy triple clamp, front and rear tyre & chain tensioners.
I cannot believe the wheels/tyres are that big, didn't thing the bike was that "huge" :0
