I'm sorry, after reading the first few posts I realized this thread was geared towards indoor

Good luck guys, our indoor sight only has a 30' ceiling... otherwise I'd have some better contributions

Hi, all.

RetoS, thanks for the video Nice flying. I dont fly my micros outside, it is very windy here.
Derk, dont forget to show us the construction progress, my own glider is coming a slow pace.

Have good flights.

Despite being outdoors I managed to force myself to enjoy it.

I've got three Foxes stashed away someplace. I'm glad that I never got around to modifying them because now I've also got a couple of AR6400's to stick in!

For some reason or another I love the idea of SMALL stuff that flies. I'm not going to say that I hate my quarter scale planes, but small planes that fly well have much more utility in that you can fly them anyplace. Even slopers have more potential slopes in a small size.

Now if only I could clear a small space I'd get to work.

Pete

Sl0flyer,
No worries, it's not exclusively indoor, that's just what is being done right now, mine for example is strictly outdoor since I have no indoor place to fly.

RetoS,

Your Falke looks fantastic, it would be a really good towplane..?

My 2-33a is coming along nicely. I just got this picture from the guy cutting it.

My thanks to Cory over at http://www.foamydisc.com/ for printing it on his foam cutter.

I have flown this little 20" 2ch SAL glider out in some ridiculous winds, I was very surprised at how well it did. It did get knocked around of course, but not as much as any other micros I've flown. They can be good windy day flyers (its always windy around here too).

Nice work guys

Nick

Hello everyone.

I posted this a bit ago. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...=therm+mite+22
I really need a folding prop around 5-4.3. It seems to be just about right for this setup. I plan on making one, but if there's one available out there that isn't too heavy ( I've found a 5-3 and a 6-3 but they are both prohibitively heavy) I'd rather purchase for time issues.

And wgeffon, I love the retractable motor unit.

Small folder

Pfinn,
Graupner make a small folder that should suit around a 10gm motor - memory escapes me on the actual diameter and pitch, but around 4.5" x 2.7" rings a bell.
cheers,
PeteM

Your SAL glider looks very nice and is very light. Nice work.
You launch it on SAL or HLG manner?
I was tempted to make one for myself but the indoor venue of my club has a low ceiling.

Have good flights
