Well all I need to do now is cover the fuse, make final placement of servos. The weight as it sits, is 16oz.

Hey, it is looking good! Be sure to checkout Mountain Models. They sell some nice laser cut balsa kits too.

Ejam,

Nice build, looks great. Are you going with rudder only?

The servo that is hooked up is for nose landing gear, and will also be hooked to rudder. And the other servo will work the elevator. The tail surfaces will get connected after the covering is on.

I hope the 2 cell lipo will be enough to power the park 450 motor. If not, I may go down in size on the motor to a park 400 or even park 370. It looks like the all up weight will be right at 18oz.

Have you made any more progress? I am interested because I have had one for about 8 years that had a speed 480 in it. I have been going to convert it to a speed 400 with 2.3 gearing because the 480 shafts bent too easy on rough landings, and the batteries were too heavy. But I would like to go with an outrunner and Lipos if I can find the right combination.
