Here's my 1/8 scale Miller American. 10s 1p, Neu 1527/1.5Y Swordfish 240 HV esc, Octura X447/3 prop. Gave me an "OSM" right around the 2:27 mark when I saw the whole bottom of the boat!.

An attempt at spinning the props out instead of in with the Thunderbolt. 5s 2p run just to make sure things didn't get out of hand with that smooth water we're so unfamiliar with. You don't see Ackerman this smooth most of the time.

Scott's Vantex Cat. Things got just a little damp inside when a cooling line got pulled off while putting the batts in.

Time for the 2nd run of the Miller today. This time with a 447/2 blader. I liked the way it runs better with the 3 blade (except for the OSM)

YAY I'm done before midnight.
Last one today was the Thunderbolt on 6s with the props spinning to the outside. Lost a couple mph but 6s full throttle corners are possible with this setup too.
Just want to add a thanks to Chris for being the main camera man today. I think Scott got off with just one turn. Had a great time as usual guys. For the ones that didn't make it, hope we have some of the same kind of weather for the scheduled run on the 13th and will see you then.

Today wasn't a scheduled run and weather was a little on the nasty side with rain. But, I had a boat to be tested and Chris volunteered to go along so we went and had at it for a while.
This is the 1st run of a new 47" mono. Meet my new pet "Flipper". Not one of my more proud moments.

While there someone else came up with a Jersey Skiff and we watched it run. Other than the noise, I think these are some cool running boats. Really like the way it comes around corners.

It was a little choppy Chris' UL-1 looked like it should have had some mombo music in the background as it danced along. No spearfishing today and we didn't even have to unload the rescue boat.

I hate it when that happens. I get plenty of "blocked by sonicwall" messages at work nyself.

I woulda had more fun if the big mono hadn't been running like skipping a stone across a lake. Hope to have some tabs and other small adjustments done before next Sunday.
