See I hate covering... love building though, not so much arfs, but a kit from a box of wood to a completed airframe. Covering always slows me waaaayyy down though. Never can find the time to do it.

Also, I am not familiar with omega motors. Who makes them, and how good are they compared to Hacker. I like the price of the omega motors, but know nothing about them.

Thanks,

Ben has them made for 3DHS. Performance they are as good as hackers, durability seems about the same. Only been using them for about 6 months but they seem to be lasting well enough.

Look at Ben's avatar! The plane flying straight up, in the avatar, is using an Omega motor. In fact, it looks like an Orange and Black 41" Edge.

Just kidding! But, you can expect similar vertical capability with an Omega.

Im really excited about this plane. It should be a really nice setup. I love the 103g motor with 13x6.5 prop on a nice 2200 pack, using an ICE 50 light. I run the 45C Turnigy Nanotechs and they work flawlessly on my 46" Vyper on the same setup. Im stealing the HS65MG for the Tail and the HS65HB for the ailerons from one of my older planes cant wait for this sucker to come out. Gear is ready.

I have had a couple Omegas and they are great motors IMO.

I have two of them and in my opinion they rock!

First, they are a perfect fit.

Second, the power, smoothness, and cost of Omega's are awesome.

Third, I really like supporting 3DHS!

I have 72g, 103g, 130g and they've been "tested" thoroughly. Hundreds of flights and several crashes on each one. Matter of fact, I just smacked the SHP (103g Omega) on the nose @ Huckfest. The plane ended up on it's wheels, I throttled up and continued the flight.
Omegas work great and you can't beat the value.
