I'd love a bigger one at some point. But to keep it in my budget and storage space I'd like to see something in the 72" and 30cc range.

Yak is going back into service this afternoon. Killed the 48 Edge last night.

Gear from Edge going over into Yak. Seems the Motor Kv is a tad lower on the Edge motor, so will be interesting to try a 14x7 again on the Yak.

I don't love the Yak down low and slow. Scary. So not dialed in with the magic combinations yet. Going to be playing with more forward CG and Expos. Do love the Yak for precision and Go Fast!!!

46 Yak 99% ready to Fly! All gear installed, tested. Bad Servo from Edge Aileron found, froze up solid while setting up Throws.

Just need to check tightening on screws for servos and pushrods and it is ready. Got the 14x7 Xoar back on.

Got 35 Up/Dwn now on Ailerons, more there if I need it. 55 Up Elevator, 53 Down, Rudder to within under 1/2" of touching Elevator halves.

Ok, it's Flight Ready now!

So are the 17- 25 mph winds for tomorrow.....

saw one of these for the first time today at a fly in near houston. Didn't talk to they owner or anything just walked up and looked and walked away as he was mid conversation. Looks even better in person than on the internet.

Well. I have the 3DHS buck -1/2 huck, a 47" SHP and now the Yak plus an Aeroworks profile.

Yak does some violent tumbling, not a floater, gotta fly her, total 3D. for whatever that's worth. pretty sweet in my mind.

Stay tuned more tomorrow. Gotta suck to be me.

Hmm, mine is super floaty...or at least it slows down big time. Not as much as my 70" Slick, but pretty good for a little plane IMO. Maybe play with your CG a little.

All of the 3DHS ships I have show their own characteristics. This one tumbles violently, tracks nice, KE’s sweetly. Does it all.

Not as floaty as the $1-1/2 huck or the 47 SHP. The Yak just has a higher stall speed.

If built to specs. The 3DHS ships are all perfection IMO. Just working on getting better so I can fly them like they deserve and then get a bigger one!

I think I have the CG nailed. It's way back. When I lay it over on it's back it's hands free flyin?

Got a fellow Hillbilly workin on some bling. A red star with flames like a comet. White to red to orange. Stay tuned.

Ron
