Yes...Birk's 104 weighs about 32lb loaded...my 104 with DA120 full of fuel and smoke is 30.5 lb....with cans and extra servos on the ailerons...BUT his plane flies NICE on the electric power....it's a REALLY cool feel....SO SMOOTH.....hard to believe until you try one......89's are actually VERY common electric....some 87's too. Of course the 70" class of planes fly great electric too.

Try a bigger electric than this 46...you WON'T be disappointed.

Yes...I can confirm...more power than my DA120 is easily possible...and if you wanna talk 89's...my buddy's 89 has more pullout than a DLE55 for sure on his 89 E-slick. Impressive....

But I like my 10 minute flights.

Skip the 51...go straight for the 71.....then maybe 89. Packs will be useful in both.

Hold out for a while and with any luck AJ may upsize this Yak...that'd be cool I think. I'd love to get one of these in a 50cc size.

59" and 71" can be set up to use the same packs. The 51" is one of my all time favorite airframes, but the gear used for it is kind of an oddball size.

we have a 46" YAK and a 48" EDGE w/ the A30-16M, plenty of power on either 2200 or 2600 20-25C 3s packs. 43amps +/- and 460 watts
