the X450 ESC may not supply enough power for servos, or if your RX and other devices draw a lot of current, i suggest you to use a third-part UBEC for the electric parts. and also cut the red line from X450 ESC.

so if we want to use our camera servos we need to cut the red line on the x450 esc on the 3 pin servo cable. and use a ubec for electrics part what is the ubec?

I have not flown it yet to verify but should be getting it this week. but when motor fails it crashes every time they said. it is extremley heavy to they have 2 4s 6000mah batterys, canon rebel t1 with lens weght about 2.5 pounds and the 3 axis camera mount weight about 1.5 pounds. i do not know the specs on the motors yet but i think the heka is overloaded

If a heka Mikrocopter engine fails and it crashes, the same will happen to the heka XA so that must surely say that a X8 is the way to go, and I thought Mikrocopter was the Rolls Royce (Cadillac ) of copters.

All it costs to go the X8 route is the 4 motors and the Esc. Minimal engineering work and following Delfin and other's engine mounts, should be a piece of cake.

I am going to start making my mounts soon. Will make it so that it takes the X450 and X650 motors and try it with the X450 motors before buying the X650 motors.

There is a Mikrokopter forum but not sure what the web adress is. You will have better luck there getting your answers.

i will do a test on a heka xaircraft I think there is not enough thrust on the mk heka to stay in the air. if a motor fails so i will take all the equipment (nearly 4 pounds)off and see if it can fly with prop/motor lost. thanks everybody for your help maybe. I will post a video of my x650 lifting the mk and towing it to the retired aircraft field lol
