Now back on topic. P47 engine start--this is why we love these planes! (Wife cannot understand why anyone would want to listen to an engine start!) This sounds really good on a home theater cranked up. (Apple TV).

I agree, I Love the Checker Board Cowling Pain scheme myself.

i love the checker board as well. if i ever get bored with mine ill probably go checkers or dimonds.

I am a bit worried about weight. I am in the middle of a repaint. I am going olive drab and adding the razorback mod. I am also going to add the flaps and retracts. I am going with a power 25 and larger esc. I will be flying with 4s 3300 batteries. With all this added weight do you all think I will still be ok? With the flaps I feel that it will slow ok and with the larger powerplant I think I will over come the added weight. Thanks for any help!

I just wanted to know what people might have experienced or thought about this set up. I already have the equipment, but I am not stubborn enough to stay with that setup if people have had bad experience with it. I felt like it was a decent question. Sorry to bother you, waste your time and confuse you. Thank god for obvious experts like yourself. You keep us less knowledgeable people in check.

Excuse me....I am serious when I posted that I just did not understand why you are asking because the E-Flite Power 25 is already

Weight: 190g (6.7 oz)

and about almost 2oz. heavier than the STOCK Park Zone 15.

In my opinion it will be grossly over weight but, it will fly and perhaps very well. It will not (again, in my opinion) fly like a PARK FLYER and landings will be easily a challenge not to have it nose over on you, especially on Grass landings.

But hey, what the heck do I know...

Just go and do it. and report back, I am interested.

don't worry it will fly great if your talking the 870 kv motor it will handle it just fine. the landing is going to be a little hotter and the flaps help a lot i use to run that same motor on a 4s 4000mah no trouble for me just make sure you get it balance and get her rolling keep your elevator up when taxing

Just curious, what did you do, if anything of the length differences between the motors?
