I'm just using a cheap venom charger. It doesn't have a decharge feature so I'm going to wire up a Christmas light bulb to a deans and hook my alarm up to the balancing port. I think this should work.

What is the max size battery you can fit in this beast? I'm looking to order this plane and some Turnigy batteries. Is 2200 the max or will a 2650 fit?

Not sure about the Turnigy but the Zippy Compact 2700 works perfect.

Did the 3000 fit without cutting foam or can you jam that sucker in?

It weighs almost the same. maybe 40-49grams heavier. Just move your esc or the battery pack back to compensate.
