I went big with the E-Flight Power 32, 60amp ESC and 2500mah 4cell 30c.. Paired with a Extra 300 prop.. I plan to try a 10x10 prop next and will see what my amp is.. I think it should be fine though..

Man this thing is a beast in the sky.. Covers some ground very quickly..

I just bolted the motor mount to the firewall and got rid of the original plastic spacer..



This setup is a bit shorter then stock but i thought that would help the CG.. I trimmed the underside of the cowl a little and pushed it back about 6 or 7mm.. You can see the original screw holes still..




I located the ESC as far back as possible also and "bridged" it across for cooling..



In the end the CG came out very close and when i add flaps that should help also... I have the E-Flight retracts and they are very sweet!!!

SWEET low pass there. What prop are you running with the G32?

The Eflite retracts are terriic, no apologies.
They are not quite "drop-in" and need to be carefully adgusted but once dialed in they are the way to go.

What's needed for to mount the H-L four blade prop to the Power 25? Anything extra?

King that thing really rips! I can't believe how fast it climbs into the clouds.

to many pages to read what do i need to to convert it to a 4 blade prop and what prop?

The firewall has the slant for the thrust balance.. The motor mount was symmetrical..

I am working on putting electronics in a new P 47 airframe. I am using this setup: extra 300 prop, eflite power 25, and castle ice 50 amp, 3s 2650 40c (for now). I got the following numbers: 33.9 amps and 400 watts. I ordered the Hobby Lobby 4 blade, and I think it should be well within the limits of my esc.

Research your motor and see what the amperage limit is.

I was thinking the 4 blade may bring the amperage draw above acceptable levels for this motor?

I agree, I just posted the specs for it.

Actually the Power32 770kv would probably be the best choice. Only 10g heavier and rated for 50amps continuous and 60amps burst.

well i just bought this p47 yesterday. got the eflight retracts and installed the flaps using hs65 thaywork great. i also bought he razor back ki and the hobby lobby 4 blade waitting on those to come in
