just kidding , that would mean a new ESC as well, we both know that it would pull way more watts/amps then my stock prop. I'll wait till I can afford to get a new ESC at the same time.

are we gonna see the Rare Bear out there ?
Not yet
When I read your 1st line above, I thought........Oh crap!

OMG this freaking thing is like a rocket! I am now scared I am going to snap the wing! On WOT it just scary. It goes up and up and up and up and up and up and the best thing about it, my flight times has increased to 7 minutes easy because even at 1/2 throttle it is faster than I need to go!

Turnigy G25
Turnigy Plush 60amp ESC
Parkzone Extra 300 Prop
Turnigy 2200 4s 40C

She is a little nose heavy now but feels more solid in the air.

What is best method of adding tail weight.
Uni,

I'm running the exact same setup. Just move your battery back to get the right CG. It is a blast once balanced out. It climbs well, tracks better and is a joy to fly. Enjoy.

Did this and yep you are right no more trim on the elevator this thing is just AMAZING!!! Have to figure out how to add another battery strap because I can barely get my finger in there to strap the battery down.

Any suggestions?

I am 100% happy with this setup. Handles the wind and for some reason, which I don't quite understand, it is much easier to land. Thing just floats in... Seems like with the heavier weight it would stall quicker...but it doesn't. Feels so solid in the air now. I really do think I am going to snap the wing off but so far so good!

I friends !
Some days ago, adjusted the servos for full throw.
I wondering if the stock servos can resist or change for quality servos are better idea?
I don't want bad surprises in the flying field (I fly in my city aerodrome with a lot of real planes around).

Regards!

I started with an airframe only, so I use a few different servos:

Ail: EXI D213F digital metal gear
Flap: Hitec HS-55
Rudder & Elevator: Hitec HS-82MG metal gear

I've had no issues with those selections at all, so far.

I'd love to see some pics of your aerodrome flying field!

Got a few flights in with the Jug this morning; strapped a 'fuselage-cam' on for one of them:

Just ordered this Park Zone Jug from my LHS & it will be in Fri.
It will take me quite a while to go thru all 840+ pages, so has anyone fitted other more affordable retracts than the e-flite ones that Park Zones reccomends & where they were obtained? Thanks, looking forward to the P-47 & chiming in on this forum

Some people have with mixed results. I think the majority opinion is "you get what you pay for". I personally have the e-flite retracts and they haven't missed a beat.

The eflite retracts are great dont be stingy.
Can resist a crash and still works flawlessly.
The cheap retract can last +100 flights or 5.
