excellent!

love headsuprc. there the hobbyking of the US IMO. ive had zero problems with there motors or ESC. tempted to try their batteries.
I cant see spending the money on a power15 while the powerup 480plus exists. 29 bucks. or 80??? hmm

only negative is they seem to have more vibration. but its not caused any issues so far.

The support is fast responding, and knowledgeable too.

do you use the stock p47 prop adapter?
the one they show has a big nut on the end. not very nice looking.

Yes, I was still able to use the stock prop adapter and it's a direct bolt on to the stock motor mount.

Flew in 20-24 mph winds today and what a difference from the quiet 5-10mph i have been flying this Jug in mostly. It handled the wind very nicely but noticed how slow it was going into the wind at full throttle, but with the tailwind was nice! Landings were a handful, the plane kept wobbling left and right, no damage, just rougher than usual landings. No flaps. Only flew 1 battery. When i got home, the wind calmed down to about 10mph :@ I hate that!

I have learned the smallest nose overs on pavement will damage the APC props, so I have been buying 5-10 quantities for spares lol

Which is a cheap/decent UBEC/BEC from HobbyKing? I just want it for the peace of mind just in case the ESC dies during flight.

Clover takes over wherever you seed it, and since it's short, maybe that would help.

Sounds like a fun mission. Put some bags of clover under each wing and do lots of low passes...

Our grass field is unusable right now but thanks to the local pee-wee football team in about a month they will have that thing beat down to a nice dirt landing strip.

Just maidened my P-47 today. 3 batteries. 2 Zippy 25C and 1 Zippy 30C. The 30C really put it through its paces. I loaded it out and love the retracts and flaps. Did some stalls with flaps down and up. Big difference and makes it a joy to bring in with a touch of power, lots of control and slow all at the same time. Love this plane! Pre-ordered the new spit but decided to go with this one instead. Really glad I did.

Welcome to the Jug Club!

It really is a great flying plane. If the new Spit is anything like the Jug, I'll be in RC heaven when I get it!
