No worries Che, its easy to misinterpret written words. Have you flown your P47 any more? more insights or flight reports would be nice. I picked mine up last Satuday morning and still have'nt had a chance to maiden it, its been raining here almost nonstop since then.

Hello
A quick question to the Horizon guys... If I cut of the plugs of the E-Flite retracts and solder extension wires on...in case of a failure of the retracts later on...would I loose my warranty because of the modification to the cables? thanks Uwe |

Advantage Hobby Sale!
Just got shipping confirmation on mine!!! Very excited. Advantage Hobby (www.advantagehobby.com) is having a 12% off sale for every purchase over $100. I had to get the PNP, as they have not rec'd BNF yet, but I've got plenty of batteries...
Even after buying the AR600 RX in addition it is still about $30 savings over buying from HH direct!! Great deal! $230 shipped vs. $258 and change at HH for the same setup (PNP + AR600) Sale code: holidaysalesevent2010 They are still showing in stock if anyone interested... Maybe it will show up by Friday??? Fingers crossed! ![]() ![]()

Hey all,
For routing of the lead for the retract I will show what I did on all the planes so far and it works well. I place the servo connector inbetween the landing gear mount and the fiberglass blade spar. It fits perfect and you have a small amount of slack on the lead. You have to push the connector into the foam channel slightly but it ends up being hidden pretty well. I do not have a pre bent retract strut with me but I photoshopped one to show what it looks like. They come with the left and right in the package and you just reuse the wheel collars from the fixed gear. Here is a photo of the fixed gear strut and my photoshopped retract strut. Hope that helps. When I ordered mine I added a few extras like I always do - and since Hobbyzone won't ship until the order is complete I would guess mine will get to me before February - maybe.
I ordered an extra cowl, the struts and the flap rods. I do not think "parts" like the extra cowl will be available until after the second shipment. Good thing I am not in any hurry!! LOL!! It's raining and 40 degrees here and expected to continue for a couple of days so I figure I wouldn't be able to do anything with it if I had it until after New Years anyway! All of you that got yours - enjoy it! To Dave and all the crew at HH - Merry Christmas!!! Hillbille |
